FEED Improvement Surface Facility Well HCE-33 & HCE-10A

In 2025, PT Tracon Industri Solusindo was appointed by PT Tracon Industri to support PT Geo Dipa Energi in executing the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) Improvement for the Surface Facilities of Wells HCE-33 and HCE-10A. This initiative is part of Geo Dipa Energi’s strategic effort to enhance geothermal production reliability, optimize surface infrastructure, and ensure that facility upgrades comply with current engineering, safety, and geothermal industry standards.

Scope of Work

As the engineering consultant, Tracon Industri Solusindo conducted comprehensive FEED improvement activities, including:

Site Inspection & Technical Data Verification

Performing detailed site visits to verify as-built conditions, assess existing surface infrastructure, and collect operational data from wells HCE-33 and HCE-10A.

FEED Gap Analysis & Design Improvement

Reviewing previous FEED documents, identifying design gaps and operational issues, and providing refined engineering concepts to improve system performance and reliability.

Process Engineering & System Configuration

Developing optimized process schemes for steam/brine handling, surface pipelines, separators, valves, and supporting utilities to ensure compatibility with geothermal well characteristics.

Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Civil (MEI-C) Design

Enhancing technical designs for mechanical equipment, electrical power distribution, instrumentation control systems, and civil works required for facility improvement.

Safety & Environmental Compliance

Ensuring all improvements comply with geothermal safety regulations, HSE requirements, and environmental guidelines applicable to geothermal field operations.

Cost Estimation & Project Execution Strategy

Preparing updated investment costs, material specifications, and a feasible execution plan to support project implementation and future construction phases.
