PT Tracon Industri Solusindo – PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk (SMART Tbk)

In 2025, PT Tracon Industri Solusindo was entrusted by SMART Tbk, one of Indonesia’s largest agribusiness companies, to carry out the Consultant Design Project for the Tarjun Unit. This project is part of SMART Tbk’s strategic initiative to enhance process efficiency, strengthen production facility infrastructure, and ensure that the unit’s development meets industry standards for safety and sustainability.

Scope of Work

As the design consultant, Tracon Industri Solusindo executed a series of engineering and technical planning activities, including:

Site Survey & Technical Assessment

Conducting detailed inspections of the existing conditions at the Tarjun Unit facility, identifying infrastructure improvement needs, and mapping the areas designated for development.

Conceptual & Basic Design Engineering (CBE/BDE)

Preparing initial designs covering facility layout, process flow, structural design, mechanical, electrical, and supporting utility systems based on SMART Tbk’s updated operational requirements.

Detailed Engineering Design (DED)

Delivering a full set of technical design documents ready for the construction phase, including technical drawings, structural calculations, equipment specifications, and system diagrams.

Process Optimization Design

Developing technical solutions to improve process efficiency, minimize potential production bottlenecks, and align design outputs with the company’s sustainability standards.

HSE Engineering Compliance

Ensuring that all design work complies with occupational safety standards, process risk mitigation requirements, and environmental regulations aligned with SMART Tbk’s corporate policies.

Cost Estimation & Implementation Roadmap

Preparing construction cost estimates and providing a project implementation roadmap to ensure effective execution aligned with the targeted schedule.
