PT Tracon Industri Solusindo was entrusted by PT Pertamina EP Region 3, Zone 9 Balikpapan to carry out an Energy Audit Project as part of the company’s initiative to enhance operational efficiency across upstream oil and gas facilities.
The project aims to map the actual energy consumption profile, identify potential savings, and provide practical and sustainable technical recommendations.
The scope of work includes:
-
Collection of Technical and Operational Data
Gathering primary and secondary energy data, including electricity and fuel consumption, equipment loads, production data, and operational parameters for process units and utilities. -
Performance Analysis of Major Energy-Consuming Equipment
Evaluating pumps, compressors, HVAC systems, electric motors, boilers, generators, and other supporting equipment to determine actual efficiency levels compared to industry best practices. -
Identification of Energy Saving Opportunities (ESOs)
Preparing a list of potential energy-saving initiatives, categorized by urgency, estimated energy reduction, cost impact, and implementation timeline (short-term, medium-term, long-term). -
Calculation of Energy Savings Potential and Economic Impact
Estimating possible energy reductions, emission decreases, operating cost savings, and payback periods to support management decision-making. -
Field Survey and Equipment Condition Verification
Conducting site inspections of production facilities, utilities, and supporting infrastructure to validate physical equipment conditions and detect inefficiencies not captured through data alone. -
Preparation of the Official Energy Audit Report
Delivering a comprehensive report outlining energy consumption analysis, audit findings, technical recommendations, implementation plans, and long-term efficiency improvement strategies in accordance with energy conservation standards in the oil and gas industry.
Through this project, PT Tracon Industri Solusindo supports Pertamina EP in achieving its energy efficiency targets, reducing operational costs, and implementing greener and more sustainable operational practices, aligned with national energy efficiency policies and upstream oil & gas industry standards.
