Plant Energy Audit Services Project

PT Tracon Industri Solusindo collaborated with PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) to carry out the Plant Energy Audit Services Project, as part of the company’s initiative to enhance operational efficiency, reduce energy costs, and strengthen the implementation of sustainable energy management across fertilizer industry facilities. This project aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the plant’s energy consumption profile and identify practical energy-saving opportunities.

The scope of work includes:

  1. Collection of Energy Consumption and Production Parameters
    Gathering historical data on electricity and fuel usage, equipment loads, process efficiency, and production output as the foundation for energy performance analysis.

  2. Evaluation of System and Major Equipment Performance
    Assessing the efficiency of critical equipment such as boilers, compressors, pumps, generators, electric motors, cooling systems, and key process units to determine major energy-consuming areas.

  3. Identification of Energy Saving Opportunities (ESOs)
    Developing a list of potential energy-saving initiatives based on technical analysis, including operational optimization, equipment improvements, system efficiency upgrades, and the integration of modern energy technologies.

  4. Calculation of Savings Potential and Financial Impact
    Estimating reductions in energy consumption, operational cost savings, CO₂ emission reduction, and conducting economic feasibility analyses (payback period) for each recommendation.

  5. Field Survey and Equipment Verification
    Conducting comprehensive on-site inspections to validate the actual condition of equipment, operating patterns, and inefficiencies that may not be visible in numerical data alone.

  6. Preparation of the Official Energy Audit Report
    Delivering a complete report containing energy performance analysis, audit findings, technical recommendations, implementation strategies, and a long-term roadmap for energy efficiency improvements aligned with energy conservation standards in the fertilizer industry.

Through this project, PT Tracon Industri Solusindo supports PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) in achieving its corporate energy efficiency targets, reducing plant operating costs, and adopting more environmentally friendly and sustainable energy management practices.
